Description:
This event is an opportunity for first-time freshman to complete orientation and register for Fall 2025 classes. Sessions are structured (not come-and-go) to provide all new students with essential information about beginning their journey at MGCCC. Your check-in location and time will be included in your confirmation email.
To ensure a successful orientation experience and appropriate course placement, please complete the following steps prior to attending:
• Submit an admission application for the correct term.
(Note: If you were enrolled as a Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment student in high school, you MUST submit a new application for freshman admission.)
• Submit your placement test scores (ACT or Accuplacer).
• Log in to your My Gulf Coast account before orientation.
(Login credentials were sent to your personal email account.)
• Verify your major is accurate (contact Admissions to make updates if needed).
